OMNeT++ selected as part of the SPEC CPU 2006 benchmark
On 08/24/2006, the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC) announced SPEC CPU2006, its next-generation benchmark for CPU-intensive performance. SPEC CPU2006 is the successor of CPU2000. The Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC) is a non-profit corporation formed to establish, maintain and endorse a standardized set of relevant benchmarks that can be applied to the newest generation of high-performance computers. SPEC develops benchmark suites and also reviews and publishes submitted results from member organizations and other benchmark licensees.
